Seiko Prospex HBC010J1 limited edition automatic diver watch 40 mm

The Seiko Prospex HBC010J1 is a European limited edition of 1,400 pieces, inspired by Lake Hallstatt. It features a 40 mm steel case, green dial with gold details, automatic 6R55 calibre and 300 m water resistance.

A limited-edition dive watch inspired by the alpine waters of Lake Hallstatt. The Seiko Prospex HBC010J1 revisits the silhouette of Seiko’s 1965 Heritage Diver, known as the 62MAS, through a dark green sunray dial. Its Calmwater Green tone evokes the depth of Lake Hallstatt, while gold-coloured details add contrast and character.

This reference is a European limited edition of 1,400 pieces, identified by an engraving on the case back. The stainless steel case measures 40 mm in diameter, 13 mm thick and 46.4 mm lug to lug, offering balanced proportions for a compact diver’s watch.

Inside is the automatic 6R55 calibre with manual winding, stop-seconds, 24 jewels and an approximate 72-hour power reserve. This movement has a stated accuracy of +25 to -15 seconds per day and includes a date display for everyday practicality.

The watch is equipped with a curved sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating, unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown and screw case back. Its hands, hour markers and bezel use LumiBrite to support legibility in dark environments and underwater.

With 300 m Diver’s water resistance, magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m and a steel bracelet with a security clasp and extension, the Seiko Prospex HBC010J1 blends heritage, professional capability and nature-inspired style. It also includes an additional textured silicone strap for different wearing situations.
