The Montblanc Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days Classique ballpoint in precious dark blue resin depicts Fogg and Passepartout’s final train journey across the United States with rich literary details.
The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection pays homage to Jules Verne’s adventure classic, and this Classique ballpoint MB132881 focuses on the final leg of Phileas Fogg and Passepartout’s journey from Yokohama to London via the United States.
Crafted from precious dark blue resin, the cap features a finely laser‑engraved train symbolising their crossing of the American continent by rail.
The cone shows a safety‑chain motif recalling the key scene where Passepartout uncouples the train from the locomotive to save the crew, while the clip is adorned with a red‑lacquered heart playing card representing Fogg’s bond with Princess Aouda and his daring 80‑day wager.
On top of the cap, an engraved timeline marks the 36 days from Yokohama to London, completing the 80‑day journey around the world and turning this ballpoint into a storytelling collector’s piece.
